Introduction

This lesson was designed to satisfy part of Nova Scotia's requirements for grade 4 social studies unit 4. Students will specifically deal with:

4.4.1 identify and describe the physical regions of Canada, and

4.4.2 identify and describe the human landscape of Canada

Students will pick a province of Canada that interests him or her and learn a variety of facts about this province. Students will also learn how to research using computers and how to navigate around the internet. The teacher should be prepared to guide students through this activity.
