This lesson is anchored in fourth grade social studies, particularly geography.

Students will need to feel comfortable speaking in front of peers and have some background knowledge of Canada and its political borders.

This lesson can be adapted to lower grades by removing some research topics. Alternatively, students in higher grades or more advanced students can use this lesson to research specific cities in Canada.

This Webquest incorporates Social Studies (geography), Language Arts, and oral presentation skills.
